I’m so happy I ran into your channel. I was thinking about getting loc extensions because I got like a 50% shrinkage from starting my loc journey. You literally reminded me of why I even began my loc journey. I was living a really bad lifestyle, but one day I decided to leave it all behind and to start new and get back in touch with my spirituality. Here I am nine months loc in and 1 1/2 sober. I realized God never left me, and all I want to do is right by my creator and my source!

Very very helpful!!! My new growth does the smell exact thing and my hair is also thin... im trying to fifurout why the too of the loc is thin but the rest of the loc is fine I wa told ibwoul have to cut the bottom part of the loc and have it re twisted into my head...but wouldn't it still start all over again if I cut th bottom part of the loc an dgot them re attached???... I belive the same thing will happen all over again and my edges are horrible from before I started my locs due ro a braiding shop... smh I just need help on what to do!!!... if you can help me i would greatly appreciate it lot,!!😊😊😊

One of my locs fell off due to the same issues with my baby hairs. Definitely going to do this as a remedy. I love how it turned out. I’m still learning, but would that be considered a Congo loc?

I am nine months in my loc journey. There has been a lot of trials and error, but I’ve also learned a lot about my hair and what it needs. I started with my hair sectioned and a boxed neatly but it’s semi free form now less stressful on my scalp and me. My advice if I may is that you should learn to do your own hair because going to a Loctician can get pricey. And there is so much beauty in doing it yourself.

i have instant locs over a year and they still stiff can someone please tell me how can i get rid of stiffness

How to get my locs thicker

I want to thank you for sharing that video with me. I had just decided to try to twist my new growth into my locks because I do have a lot of hair growing away from the lock making the locks thinner at the root. I am excited about trying to breed the new hair into my locks.

Thank you for admitting that oils actually smell! Them sitting on the hair and a scalp that also sweats creates that funk everyone associates wihh locs. Oils to me don't smell good. Olive oil, blegh, all these oither oils, blegh, and your pillow and headwrap are soiled too. It's not cute.

Love all your vids! I retwist with no products and recently decided to stop retwisting and one of the reasons is bc I noticed even tho I don’t use products I STILL get build up in the area that was retwisted. So that resonated the most with me 😊

I have 44 full head but want to restart. I wanted 36 exactly (i had a particular reason) but noticed a week later the stylist not only didn’t install correct number she also didn’t do parts right. It is hard to find a stylist to do exactly what you want.

i got my prelocs one month ago, i retwisted it one week ago but didnt wash, but now i feel like i have to, but if i wash it ill need to retwist again, bc my coils will look bad, but i heard retwisting too much often is bad for my hair so i dont know what to do

Have you taken MDMA, Shrooms or cannabis? I am just asking bc its good to also listen to people who have a perspective of someone who has experience with such things (even so every experience is unique to the person)? Otherwise you are on the outside judging the inside. I know there are people who have had massive healing from taking so called drugs, which even Chimpanzees medicate with....And to some alcohol is poison to others its an elixir.
